Guest Ratings & Reviews
Staying at the hotel felt like traveling back in time to the Maharaja of Bissau's summer residence. The rooms are spacious but in desperate need of renovation. They are simple and sparse, lacking in furniture or decoration, yet clean and private. The service provided a warm, unique, and hospitable touch, although some language barriers were experienced. The location, while sometimes dirty due to external factors, is centrally located and vibrant, offering easy access to the city gates. The dining experience was excellent but may come at a high price. Overall, a stay that balances history and simplicity.
I felt like royalty staying at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and had the most stunning heritage interior. The palace staff even gave us a tour of the palace, and there's a library inside - it's like stepping back in time. However, there was a small plumbing issue that caused some noise, which was a bit of a downside, but overall, the hotel exudes nostalgia and elegance.
The hotel offered unique rooms with the best heritage interior and even a palace tour by the staff; however, room servicing was missed on the second day. The location was fantastic near the Pink City, but the room temperature could be improved. The dining experience was relaxing, yet the provided tetra pack juice was disappointing.
Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time to the historic era of the Maharaja of Bissau. The rooms, adorned with antique furniture, exuded the charm of old Rajasthan, although they fell below my expectations. The service, while authentic and well-intentioned, had some pushy instances. The location, despite its vibrant surroundings and convenience to the Pink City, had its share of surprises, both pleasant and unpleasant. The dining experience offered a tasty variety, but with some hiccups along the way.
Staying at the summer residence of the Maharaja of Bissau was a mixed experience. The rooms were quite basic and in need of repair, and there was a lack of service on the second day of my stay. However, the setup for the 3rd bed saved the day in terms of comfort.
The hotel is a charming blend of history and comfort. The rooms are even more delightful in person, showcasing a refined taste with historic furniture. The cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, but some might find the pricing a bit on the higher side. The service was a mix of genuine warmth but lacking efficiency in some areas.
Staying at the hotel felt like experiencing a piece of history in the midst of the bustling old city. The rooms were not only spacious and comfortable but also beautifully decorated, offering a glimpse into the past when the hotel served as the summer residence of the Maharaja of Bissau. It truly felt like an oasis in the vibrant surroundings.
